We share a genuine appreciation for print and paper, along with the value of long-standing, collaborative relationships. Spicers embodies both, making them a natural fit.
We had the pleasure of producing a sampler for Spicers’ Pacesetter range - a high-performing ‘house’ paper stock for printers all over Australia.

A typical paper range might include a handful of coated and uncoated stocks. Pacesetter takes a broader view. It spans adhesives, tints, fluoro and synthetic stocks, offering printers a wide variety of options without compromising on quality or consistency.
The name itself informed the creative direction. Pacesetter lends naturally to a performance-led narrative, which was expressed through sports-inspired imagery that resonates with an audience focused on precision and results.

Each sample pairs vivid visuals with considered copy, linking the name of each stock to its qualities and practical benefits for printers.
The objective was to showcase each paper at its best. The format includes two sheets of the hero stock, demonstrating how it performs across common printing scenarios, from flat colour illustration to photographic reproduction.

Close collaboration with Adams Print informed key decisions around format, scale and speciality finishes, ensuring the final piece delivered maximum impact. With a long-standing heritage in print, their commitment to craft aligned naturally with the intent of the project.
From the outset, the aim was to create a stand-alone artefact as much as a promotional piece. Something that would showcase the range at its best, while also becoming an object of genuine appeal for printers.
At the same time, the work needed to extend beyond a single format. A suite of flexible assets was developed to support broader rollout, allowing the campaign to reach multiple audiences with consistency.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to quality, craft and the enduring value of print.

“It is practical and colourful, and clearly demonstrates the exceptional printability of the stock. Our designers are loving this promotion. Thank you to the team for their incredible work.”
