CeBIT was once again a great success for Brightlabs with over 30,000 visitors passing through the Sydney Convention Centre during the 3 day exhibition. This year Brightlabs used the opportunity of CeBIT to launch the most recent release of its highly-regarded content management software (iCMS), and to launch the new iCMS reseller plan. Based on iCMS user feedback, many new features have been incorporated into the system. A few of the highlights include:
- Content expiry reminders
- Extended version control
- Automatic content publishing
- Automatic content removal
- Search engine optimisation (SEO) toolkit
Promotion of the eagerly anticipated reseller program elicited an enthusiastic response from CeBIT attendees. Brightlabs' Business Development Manager, Peter Rawson-Harris, is impressed with the response to the reseller package and noted that this is type of feedback is helping secure plans for an overseas launch of iCMS (see article from 14/04/07). Resellers from all over Australia registered their interest in taking part in the new program which promises a number of features such as:
- Easy commission structure
- Up and running in less than 7 days
- Technical documentation
- Marketing material
- Help & support
- Lead generation
Amongst the highlights at CeBIT this year, Brightlabs' Operations Manager, Farhad Meher-Homji, was interviewed by Channel 7's Peter Blasina as part of the 'Smart Queensland' initiative profiling successful Queensland ICT companies (see article from 2/05/07).
