Brightlabs Takes Home Another Set of Awards

What do rescue helicopters, the Commonwealth Games, and busting some dance moves for charity have in common? Shiny awards!

Brightlabs is proud to announce some new and exciting awards that we recently received for three projects.

The Telly Awards
Our first award, in partnership with Changer Studios, is for our client CareFlight Group. The Bronze Telly Award was received for the engaging online feature video for the 2014 CareFlight website. Everything from pre to post production was carried out to create a new and engaging element that went on to become the main feature of the website, with the aim of creating an emotionally-driven video that would help drive conversions across all devices.

Note: the video is footage only and does not have sound, as it was used as a background on the CareFlight site homepage.

The Communicator Awards
We were so pleased to receive the Award of Distinction from the 2015 Communicator Awards, was given to The Mater Foundation's Bust a Move website in the category of Website: Charitable Organisation / Non-Profit. Bust a Move is one of The Mater Foundation's fund raising campaigns for breast cancer awareness and research. As a responsive website, Bust a Move allows participants to donate, get event information, register, and view top fundraisers. The website also integrates with 3rd party fundraising platforms that The Mater Foundation already had in place.

We also received the Gold Award of Excellence (Website: Government), which is the highest award available, for the Embracing 2018 website. The Embracing 2018 website was a project that we worked on for Department of Tourism, Major Events, and Small Business for the Queensland Government. The Embracing 2018 website offers opportunities to the local community to be engaged in the preparation and lead up to the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. The website uses a variety of modern features that allows users to easily access information and quickly find ways to get involved, whilst providing a seamless experience across all devices. Brightlabs were engaged to create a unique and accessible design for the client's target audience, and to provide continuing work on the website to create such features as the Pre-Event Training Map which allows visitors, specifically sporting teams, to easily access information about potential sporting venues for the lead up and preparation before the games.
